REGIONAL ACCOUNTING MANAGER (UK & Ireland)Slough (SL)
C£60,000p/a + 15% Bonus + Car Allowance £6750 + Pension + Private Healthcare + Discounts
My client is a very well known telecommunications company based UK and worldwide wide but with a office in Slough. At present they are in search of a Regional Accounting Manager for UK & Ireland being based in Slough. This is an excellent time to join a growing company within the telecomm industry.
Purpose of Position
· To provide financial and SOX control within the UK and Ireland
Main Purpose
· Provide financial and accounting management for group of legal entities/ledgers.
· Responsible for control environment and underlying integrity of books and records.
· Responsible for meeting all statutory compliance requirements for entities under their control.
· Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of ledger – based numbers for FR&A review scope of audits.
· Deliver against requirements of agreed FR&A service legal agreement (SLA).
· Ensure compliance with sarbox both within our outsourcing partner and within OBS monitoring controls.
Specific areas of responsibility:
· Ensuring that all sub processes and external data feeds have successfully interfaced into the general ledger.
· Preliminary P&L and full balance sheet analysis per country.
· Ensure compliance with statutory, legal and tax requirements.
· Primary point of contact for all entity – specific compliance queries.
Skills/Experience & Qualifications required
· Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
· Degree Educated
· Experience in business financial management/control ship/accounting or audit role in business environment.
· Specific language skill/country specific knowledge may be required.
· Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
· Ability to learn, flexibility, and creativity: good business and management skills.
· Good team player, with ability to act as individual practitioner.
