Description:

Based in Thurrock, as Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for processing invoices, processing payments, cash payments, receipts, bank reconciliations, dealing with queries through credit control.


You will be an experienced Accounts Assistant familiar with invoices, payments and understand the basics of financial accounts.

You will be;

  • Experienced in accounts.
  • Be educated to GCSE or equivalent level.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to use excel well.
  • Have a mature attitude.
  • Knowledge or experience of the shipping industry is advantageous.
  • Knowledge or experience of the banking industry is advantageous.


Our client is a large and successful international shipping company, with an accounts team based locally in Thurrock.

They offer a large but friendly team environment and wish to extend their successful team through new business.
