Description:

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller/Accounts Receivable Team Member to join their team on a permanent basis.
This position is looking after a European ledger therefore the successful candidate must be able to speak fluent Portuguese.  
The main purpose of the job will be to manage the credit collections operations to ensure that the DSO and the other key financial performance targets are met. Duties within the role will include:


  • Pro-actively chasing customers for cash to ensure that the DSO targets are achieved
  • Managing the credit risk and escalating issues in a timely manner to the Team Leader
  • Minimising the risk of bad and doubtful debt
  • Providing regular reporting on outstanding debt
  • Managing customer queries
  • Maintaining and improving relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Working together with other departments to ensure that the sales ledger is kept up to date and that accounts are constantly reconciled
To be considered for this position you must speak fluent Portuguese .
 Other key skills and experience include:
  • Previous experience within a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable position
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working in a large corporate environment
