Arrears Control / Collections (Field based), circa 17k + bonusPosition: Field Customer Account Advisor.
Location: Opportunities throughout England, Scotland and Wales including Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands and Shropshire.

Salary: £16-18k + Bonus
Hours: Field Based Role, Mon-Sat, 39 hrs/wk based on a 5 day rota.

ROLE:
The Field Customer Account Advisor is a key role in managing the debt in line with Company targets
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) To build strong relationships with customers who are late in making payments and establish causes and problem resolution.
b) To communicate with customers on payments of goods both verbally and in writing whilst ensuring the Company’s PCP procedures are adhered to.
c) Maintain accurate and up to date customer files.
d) To arrange and carry out when necessary, merchandise collections from customers, after management authorisation.
e) To request skip tracing activities as needed.
f) To follow retention procedures to ensure required targets are met.
g) To provide late payment ‘trouble-shooting’ support to all stores within the region as directed.
h) To provide on-job training support including the coaching and mentoring of newly appointed staff.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
a) Driving license essential
b) Previous experience of working in a customer focused environment.
c) Prior collections experience preferred but not essential.
You may have experience of the following Debt Collector, Debt Recovery, Debt Collection, Bailiff, Arrears Control, Credit Control, Credit Controller, County Court, Insolvency, etc
