Bank Reconciliation Manager required!

Bank transactions are currently reconciled in Mumbai. Cash transactions are mainly represented by customer receipts ( DD, SO, Debit cards, Cheques ) and refunds to customers for overpayments. The intention is to integrate the activities in High Wycombe under one team with the on-site assistance of key members of the Mumbai team and to transfer ownership by the end of August. The successful applicant will be required to take a leading role in the development of the operating practices within Finance in response to the need to raise standards across the consolidated function

Main Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
• Management of bank reconciliation team, setting and monitoring of objectives.
• Effective and seamless transition of bank reconciliation processes back to UK.
• Bank reconciliation for 60 collections accounts
• Robust review processes to ensure reconciling items cleared appropriately and quickly
• Investigation and resolution of all un-reconciled items
• Swift resolution of all queries from Customer Service and Servicing depts
• Development of KPIs which provide leading and lagging indicators of performance
• Simplify bank account structure
• Support business growth through onboarding 3rd party owned books

Technical / Knowledge / Skills
• Bank reconciliation experience
• Able to pick up servicing systems knowledge quickly.
• Excellent communication skills
• Resolution of complex issues

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years in a Financial/Accounting background
