Description:
Based in Northampton, our client is a leading global credit card provider.They currently have opportunities for experience Analysts to join their Customer Value Management (CVM) and Portfolio Management teams within the International Risk division.
The Role
• Productively manage the overall value from customer relationships through optimizing revenue opportunities and managing credit exposure
• Performing in-depth analysis of customer value tests, campaign analyses, response propensity models, bad debt performance, etc.
• Lead major initiatives to expand the scope of customer offerings (e.g. new products like a Germany Loan product launch) and methodologies (e.g. break-even risk tendency-based credit limit strategy refinement) of the department.
• Document findings, make and present recommendations, design new strategies that will outperform the past approaches and solve problems along the way.
• Monthly value MI production
• Vendor (internal and external) management, IT resources management and stakeholder management to ensure speedy implementation of programs.
Candidate Specification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.), including macro.
• High proficiency in SAS programming (intermediate or advanced level).
• Ability to work fluently with various data as well as ability to explore new data sets and sources.
• Quantitative methods, such as CHAID, logistic regression, CART and all scoring systems.
• Financial analysis such as value calculation and break-even analysis
• Knowledge of Customer value management techniques and approaches in a consumer lending (open-end revolving credit) setting.
• Experience of Customer value/risk strategy implementation in a credit score-driven environment and in “tree” type analytical structures.
• Degree standard general quantitative training, especially in multivariate statistics.
• Ability to identify quantitative tools needed to run the business and be able to work with decision science resources/external vendors to facilitate the development & implementation of models.
The basic salary range is £35,000 - £40,000 plus bonus (30%), excellent pension scheme, private healthcare, shares etc…
