About The Challenge:
This role will see you apply expertise in account opening and mandate changes, ensuring that the documentation is right first time, every time. With the same attention to detail, you'll undertake issues of formal notices to customers, adhering to all relevant compliance regulations. In addition, you'll provide specialist non-contact servicing to customers and develop your product knowledge to act as a main point of contact for other areas of the group. At the highest level, you'll liaise with the Relationship Manager in connection with new business opportunities and support areas regarding the transfer of accounts.
Working in a Business Support Team, the jobholder will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of turnaround and managed exit strategies to a demanding portfolio of UK customers (Medium Business & Agriculture and some Larger Business customers) experiencing financial stress, defined as Early Warning List.
Assist Business Support Managers in developing objectives, strategies and actions that need to be adopted to reduce the Bank's risk, often acting as the catalyst for change in our customers' business strategy.
Office based role working for more than one Business Support Manager and alongside other Assistant Managers. The role holder will provide support to credit-based relationships for a portfolio of customers that will generally have exposure less than £3m. May be involved in some face to face customer discussions although usual customer contact will be over the telephone.
The role-holder will provide product/technical knowledge, research, analysis, clerical and other case support to Business Support Managers. Will accept responsibility for monitoring strategies and actions to ensure successful achievement once situation is sufficiently stable.
