Cash allocation/Accounts Assistant - East London- £22,000 JOB DESCRIPTION BELOW
Our client is a industry leader in the technological field. With a global presence, they are an established company who can offer a host of opportunities accordingly. A vacancy has arisen for a cashier to join the credit control team. The role requires someone with a strong work ethic and commitment to their role. Experience in cashiering is essential.

The main function of your role will be to ensure all cash, cheque, and BACS  payments are posted to the designated accounts in a quick and efficient manner and to administer the credit card portion of the Sales Ledger. The successful candidate will need to be organised and a team player and able to work off their own initiative in order to retain team cohesion. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a growing success.



DUTIES (will include but not be limited to)

To prepare daily banking and post all payments
To bank all cheques received in office in a timely manner
To run daily unallocated cash report and contact customers
To process any credit held orders and contact sales/customers
To process credit notes and journal adjustments as necessary 
To chase any cash with order account, that has an outstanding balance, for payment 
To investigate and process customer refunds to be signed off
To ensure invoices are generated on a daily basis and sent to customers
To ensure statements are run at month end and issued to customers
