THE ROLE
This role will be reporting into the Collections Manager, working within the Finance Collections team and gives you the opportunity to really see the results of your work every day.
A confident communicator, you will relish the challenge of combining sensitivity with pragmatism and when required, you have the conviction to take difficult decisions.
Main Responsibilities
  • Speaking to customers to resolve arrears in a way that satisfies the needs of both the company and the customer.
  • Ensure that the customers are handled in line with departmental controls and procedures and that service level targets are achieved.
  • Understand the highs and lows of customers in arrears and the factions that it may entail when trying to acquire funds for repayment
  • help to train new staff members
  • Liaise with external collections agents

Qualifications, skills and experience required
  • Knowledge and experience of collections in asset finance whilst not essential is preferable
  • First class organisational skills, with the ability to priorities and meet deadlines
  • Self starter that can be relied upon to ensure objectives are achieved
  • Great communicator with a firm but fair approach
