Description:
Purpose:To maximise company profit and reduce losses by collecting all overdue rentals in a timely manner by means of telephone letter and e mail
Key Accountabilities:
Contact lessees by phone and / or letter in order to collect overdue rentals
- Request field calls where appropriate for investigation of non-payment issues.
- Resolve issues or complaints raised by the lessee or the supplier on any arrears case.
- Referral of any case that requires approval or guidance to Collections management team.
- Adhere to the CACS procedures and work within the guidelines provided, ensuring all collection activities are carried out in the legally mandated manner.
- Meet agreed productivity and effectiveness targets set.
Experience:
Credit collections experience is ESSENTIAL.
Knowledge of contracts and consumer credit preferred
Banking, Leasing or Finance Agreements experience preferred
Job Skills and Knowledge:
- Involves at least 95% telephone work
- P.C literate, familiar in navigating the web - essential
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills ? essential
- Ability to deal with customers effectively using a range of telephone techniques ?Involves 95% telephone work essential
- Ability to meet targets based on productivity and effectiveness ? essential
- Confidence to deal with all aspects of arrears and related problems ? essential
- Effective written skills ? preferable
