Excellent opportunity for an experienced Analyst to join a top 4 UK bank in the Collections & Risk Innovation team.Role
The team is responsible for defining, testing, measuring, implementing and running
Unsecured Collections customer contact strategies. This role will provide direction to future strategies through the generation of ideas and test and learn activities.
Responsibilities
Manage the design and creation of new and insightful test initiatives along with the required analytical support.
Using industry knowledge and your own initiative put forward new proposals for collections strategies.
Develop and pro-active strategies that deliver the optimum performance and customer service.
Regularly liaise with stakeholders including the Senior Leadership Team within Credit Risk and Credit Risk Operations; obtain support and commitment to the tests and establish yourself as a source of knowledge on innovation initiatives.
Manage own and be accountable for analyst workloads to ensure that deadlines are met and tasks/projects are prioritised.
Actively seek to develop own technical, analytical and business function knowledge through training, investigation and project work; keep abreast of industry advancements.
Candidate Specification
Analytical experience, perhaps with a mathematical, statistical or econometrics background; a track record in delivery of complex analysis into a business environment.
Experienced in using SAS for data manipulation and analysis.
Previous project management experience, with proven ability to lead and deliver business change at pace.
Confident, influential and assertive; previous experience of working with a senior stakeholder group.
An awareness of the UK economy, in particular consumer lending with knowledge of retail banking products being desirable.
Previous experience of contact centre operations will be an advantage.
The basic salary on offer for this position is between £30,000 - £35,000 plus bonus (20%), shares, pension, private healthcare, training and other flexible banking benefits.
