Our client is a niche Financial Services provider and a subsidiary of a major UK bank. They have a newly created opening for an experienced Corporate Credit Analyst to join their successful and expanding business. Reporting to the Head of Risk and working closely with the Business Development team your role will involve visiting customers and regional offices to advise and assist with the underwriting of complex, large value financial proposals and acting as the ‘face’ of the credit team. As a consequence the role will only suit a personable individual who is happy to travel within the UK for an average two days per week.
Your further responsibilities will encompass all the traditional requirements of an experienced credit professional, including maintaining the integrity of credit data, conducting relevant research, preparing detailed credit applications with recommendations for approval above personal authority. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare non standard documents and co-ordinate the execution and draw down of facilities, monitor and control quality in accordance within guidelines and policy.
Applicants must demonstrate very strong credit analysis skills, ideally from within the banking sector and a proven track record of analysing large transactions. Experience in the preparation of detailed corporate credit applications and good relationship management skills are also essential. Candidates who live anywhere in the home counties will be considered for this role providing they are able to commit to spending 2-3 days per week in North London/Hertfordshire area.
