A new and exciting role has arisen working for one of the UKs leading and most recognisable FMCGs as a Credit Analyst.This important role is responsible for deputising for the AR Team on decision making and act as a conduit between the business and the debt recovery agents.
Your experience and proven track record of managing your own ledger within a manufacturing environment and experience of leading/guiding team members to have an understanding of DSO will ensure you are able to carry out the day to day responsibilities of this role.
You will also need to have exemplary communication skills, strong analytical skills, prioritisation ability and a systematic approach to your administrative duties. Experience within an FMCG environment and knowledge of SAP would be very beneficial but not a key requirement.
The successful candidate must the ability to be able to work effectively with many internal contacts as well as senior customer personnel ? employing tact and diplomacy together with forcefulness, when required, in order to achieve set objectives

We are looking for someone with credit control experience that has worked within a team and may have been a team leader but who can also work individually. The candidate will have needed to have managed their own ledger before and if they have worked in a manufacturing environment before this would be an added bonus. The role will involve debt recovery (although not targeted), opening new and reviewing credit limits, problem solving, negotiating with leavers from the company in getting overpaid money back, liaising with solicitors and reporting.
If the person is not already ICM qualified they must be willing to start their ICM within the first 12 months of joining
