Description:
As a credit control clerk your role will typically involve; -
- Chasing outstanding payments by phone, letter, fax or email.
- Negotiating payment terms with customers.
- Allocation of cash to accounts when paid.
- Handling customer queries and liaising with the sales ledger team where necessary.
The successful candidate must have the following attributes; -
- Strong accounting background.
- Working knowledge of credit control.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Be accurate, articulate and numerate.
- Organised and thorough, ability to manage own time.
- Excellent telephone, letter and email skills.
- Confident, tenacious and responsible individual who is conscientious and reliable and can manage their own daily workload on their own initiative.
