Key Responsibilities:
In order to successfully carry out this role you will have:
- A sound knowledge of all credit control procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, you will need to enjoy being on the telephone chasing debt and forging business relationships with our customers.
- Tenacious and meticulous approach to your work, with strong excel, word and computer software skills.
- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage but not essential.
- Produce and update the debtors report on a regular basis.
- Proactively chase outstanding debt using all forms of media.
- Log and follow through all disputes to resolution, escalating when necessary.
- Assist in the reduction of our debtor’s days.
- Reconciling accounts.
- Cash Allocation.
- Adhoc duties as requested by the Credit Manager.
Skills Required :
- You will demonstrate the ability to meet your own deadlines and also those of the department.
- You will ensure timely follow up at the specified time for the chase letters sent and ensure speedy responses to customer queries
