A permanent job for a Trainee Credit Controller / Key Account Manager based on the outskirts of Sunderland. This job would suit an ambitious candidate with excellent customer service skills developed with a team orientated environment and experience of working to Service Level Agreements (SLA's).

Due to an internal promotion a vacancy has been created within their customer-facing finance team, which is responsible for credit & collections and customer claims management & query resolution.
 
You will be responsible for resolving customer queries, to enable the effective collection of cash. Customer queries may arise from any one of a number of factors including invoicing, deliveries or defect goods. Your role will be to liaise with customers both internally and externally to resolve the discrepancies as quickly and as efficiently as possible. You will be speaking to people at all levels from FD's and MD's to Accounts Payable, Warehouse and Sales Managers. It is therefore essential that you have excellent customer service and communication skills. Your customer service skills may come from previous experience as a Customer Service Advisor, Key Account Manager, Collections Advisor or Credit Controller. As every day with present new, interesting and varied challenges, you must be able to organise, plan and prioritise your busy workload. Working with a great team of people, you will have a positive approach and the confidence to make innovative and creative decisions to resolve customer queries.
