Description:

A great opportunity has arisen to join a large and successful manufacturing company in the Loughborough area. The company are currently seeking a credit controller to join their existing team of 3. You will be reporting directly to the Credit Control supervisor and be responsible for the group ledger.

The main roles and responsibilities include:

  • Chasing debt via telephone, fax, letter & email.
  • Producing copies of POD's, invoices and purchase orders.
  • Issuing of credit notes within allowed limit.
  • Establish and maintain good customer service levels.
  • Visit customers to resolve debt issues.
  • Actively reduce debtor days.

Skills required:
  • Experience in Credit Control.
  • Knowledge of Purchase & Sales ledger.
  • IT literate - word & excel
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to resolve queries.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
    My client will also consider those candidates that wish start a career in credit control, but you must have an appreciation of how an accounts department works.

    • Hours: Mon - Thurs 9 - 5. 1 Hour Lunch
    • Annual leave: 23days + Stat
    • Pension.
    • Free Car parking.
