Description:

Our client a well established and rapidly expanding company based in Chorley are looking to recruit an experienced credit manager to join their large accounts team.  The right person must have experience in a similar role and the ICM qualification is a bonus.
Responsibility for all aspects of credit control for 580 sites nationwide
Management of 2 credit controllers
Management of periodic demand invoicing
Debt management including collection by cash, cheque, DD, credit cards
Daily Cash accounting / reconciliation for all accounts
Responsibility for client database to ensure reliable / accurate invoicing
All monthly / period reporting to management
Liaison with debt collection agencies / bailiffs / courts for relevant accounts
Recommending and implementing improvements to credit control procedures
Assisting in the implementation of new finance systems
To visit and to discuss  debt issues with customers
Regular meetings with area managers and directors to discuss and remedy debt issues
The individual will be a very experienced Credit Manager, preferably ICM qualified.
Although industry experience would be a benefit it is not critical.
