ABOUT THE ROLE:
The main function of the Credit Control Department is to collect the receivables of Torex?s extensive UK customer base. Reporting to the UK Credit Control Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of 5 credit controllers.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- To supervise collection activities against 1200 debtors
- Ensure call rate targets are met by each credit controller
- Review and analyse each credit controller?s account activities to ensure all accounts are being chased appropriately
- Updating daily collection figures for the business
- Weekly cash forecasting against the debtors ledger
- Regular account reconciliations
- Weekly reporting analysing overdue customers
SKILLS:
- Strong written and verbal communication with good organisational skills.
- Proven people skills
- Good working knowledge and hands on experience of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good accounting and analytical ability
- A minimum of 4 years experience in credit control
- An ICM qualification
- Experience in the IT industry would be an advantage
