Description:

This is a newly created position working for a large professional service company.
You will reporting to the Group Credit Manager and work alongside 2 other team leaders, each managing a team of 3-5 credit controller, overseeing 600 live accounts. The role is split 50% hands on credit control duties and 50% staff management and reporting.
Responsibilities:
           
To supervise, guide and train members of the credit control team ? This involves the following:
Ensuring Debtor Days are kept within target
Ensuring weekly/monthly cash collection targets reached
Ensuring queries are resolved in a timely manner to achieve prompt payment by liaising with the appropriate people across the Group.
Reviewing  individual team members performance
To support and assist the Group Credit Manager and cover in their absence.
To assist with Management Reporting
To chase payment of overdue debt by telephone, letter, and email
To be responsible for all Managed Vendor/Self Bill Accs
Visit clients as and when required.
To visit other sites in the group as and when required.
To accurately post and allocate payments received to the client accounts
The check and set up new client accounts
To send out monthly statements
