Description:
I am currently recruiting for a temporary credit controller for a period of between 3-6 months. The successful candidate must have experience of working to high volumes and building relationships with customers. The candidate should have experience of working with Sage line 100, and have intermediate Excel skills, with knowledge of spreadsheets and formulas. Working within a team to ensure that prompt payment is made and provide financial analysis information on aged debts and cash status when required to minimise bad debt risk.Duties incline:
- Liaise with customers in a courteous and professional manner to ensure prompt payment is made (within agreed credit terms);
- Reconcile all accounts under your responsibility, including credit balances to report on status;
- Working towards KPI's;
- Liaise with sales order team to resolve any debit notes outstanding for Shorts, Price Variance or Return issues and escalate to Credit Manager if Debit notes are not being credited;
- Ensure that customers are providing remittance details and following up if receipt is received before remittance;
- Credit check new customers to make correct recommendations for credit risk and final decision by Credit Manager or Director;
- Produce a weekly aged debt analysis and cash status report;
- Provide cover across brands for periods of holiday and sickness;
- Any other duties to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the company.
