Description:
This is a great credit control job near High Wycombe...This well renowned family run company based on the outskirts of High Wycombe is seeking an Assistant Credit Controller. The role will be varied and busy, main tasks will include:
- Allocating Cash receipts to customer accounts and preparing daily banking.
- Telephoning and writing to customers whose accounts are overdue.
- Controlling the system for stopping a customer receiving goods when they have an overdue account or are above their credit limit.
- Entering new customers accounts onto the computer system and making credit reference checks where necessary.
- Raising credit notes.
- Other duties in the accounts department including purchase ledger, petty cash and accounts administration.
The company has an accounts department of 3-5 staff and on a day to day basis the credit controller will work closely with the credit control team to ensure that customers pay within their agreed terms and that the sales ledger is maintained correctly. Initially the position will be temporary to cover immediate holidays with a view to going permanent.
