Description:
- To collect sales revenue and liaise with customers in relation to queries
- Create Customer Statements and mail to Customers monthly
- Raise Customer invoices/credit notes on an ad-hoc basis
- Produce copy invoices based on Customer request and send to Customers as required
- Take all calls from Customers relating to invoice queries / disputes or credit note requests
- Pro-active cash collection responsibility. Calling customers on a regular basis to ensure collection plans are agreed
- Customer “dispute resolution management”. Drive resolution of disputes with local country sales / logistics teams
- Invoice / debt classification (status code maintenance) on to allow various Business Intelligence reports to function properly.
- Weekly cash collection forecasting
- Cash entry/reconciliation to Customer accounts
- Credit Note allocation against open invoices
- Banking of cheques
- Own and control Debt recovery processes where dispute management fails to deliver a resolution
- Reconcile the AR ledger at month end ensuring any differences are cleared
- Run the customer master integrity report and clear any anomalies before month end
- Complete the AR Month end report pack
- Running credit checks as requested and analysing data
- Previous JDE Accounting experience is preferable
- Flexible/adaptable to change
- Can work on own initiative
- Pro-active
- AR experience including industry/commerce
- Excellent communication and inter personal skills
