Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
To support departments / teams located in the Southampton office to:
- Control overdue balances and maintain within acceptable limits By regular internal contact via: Team meetings, Individual meetings, Email
- Telephone And regular contact with clients via: Telephone, Letter, Email (as appropriate)
- Review aged debt by type for accuracy and update as appropriate
- Reconcile client accounts as required (with cashier assistance as required)
- Monitoring and settlement of payment plans for aged debtors
- initiating legal action
- Maintain own filing system
- Carr
- Fundamental to this role is the ability to communicate at all levels with confidence and authority
- Service background an advantage
- Attention to detail
- Goal orientated
- PC literate Microsoft Excel / Word / Access – preferred
- Self motivated – must be able to work on own initiative although support will provided by credit control supervisor
