A quality credit controller would typically be carrying out the following duties:
- Chasing outstanding invoices & payments
- Producing aged debt reports
- Negotiating payment terms
- Carrying out credit checks
- Setting credit limits for customers
- Allocating cash to accounts
- Handling & solving queries
Quality credit controllers must have :
- a calm yet confident manner to maximise debt collection
- a proven employment history of credit control
- attention to detail
- the ability to work under pressure.
