Description:
A new credit control job in Birmingham City Centre.An excellent opportunity for a professional and enthusiastic credit controller who enjoys working in a really positive team environment that will benefit their career in credit control.
Due to changes within the organisation this leading Financial Services organisation are looking for an experienced credit controller to join them.
Duties include:
Chasing payment of fee invoices via: statements/bordereau?s/letter/phone/fax/email
Resolving queries raised by clients
Resolving queries raised by adjusters & other internal staff
Liaising with clients/brokers & attending meetings when necessary (within UK)
Liaising closely with account managers
Compile & produce reports for both clients & management
Assist in cash allocation
Maintenance of client aged debt records
Daily database amendments
Reply to correspondence received from clients
Ideally experienced in credit control / accounts
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Excel / Word knowledge of good basic/intermediate level
Ability to work to strict deadlines & changing requirements
Readiness to learn and take on new work where necessary
Professional approach, capable of representing the organisation at all levels
Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
Self motivated with good time management / organisational skills
Be compliant with relevant legislations
