Description:
A new credit control job in Oldbury, Birmingham.An experienced credit controller is required to work for a £mulii billion turnover manufacturing organisation with sites across the world.
Working as part of an established credit control team in Birmingham you will have the support of 7 credit controllers and a credit supervisor.
Credit Control duties include:
- Responsible for 480 live accounts with a ledger value of £3m
- Proactively pursue debt
- Ensure prompt payment on overdue accounts
- Liaise with branches
- to ensure disputed invoices are sorted promptly
- Accurate and timely posting
- of cash/cheque receipts to customers accounts
- Follow procedures to open new accounts
- Customer file maintenance
- Liaise with branches to arrange cheque collection/pro-forma payments
- Communicate problem accounts to supervisor
- Monitor exposure of accounts to credit limits
- Credit control
- Sales ledger
- Cash allocation
