Description:
Credit Controller required for a professional services firm based in Birmingham city centre. You will be chasing customers for outstanding debt and liaising with fee earners within the business to resolve queries. As you are chasing customers for services they have received you are unable to put people on stop or demand cash in the same way as you sometimes can with goods so a softer, diplomatic, approach is required as the fee earners for the firm are often keen not to upset their clients. Other duties include allocating cash and account reconciliation.You will be an experienced credit controller from a professional services background who has tact and diplomacy coupled with the ability to collect cash. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good standard of education. You will enjoy query resolution and liaising with people. Strong IT skills are important for this role as you will be using accounts software, Excel, email etc.
My client are a professional services business based in the centre of town, who have offices across the world. They provide a range of legal services and have built themselves a strong reputation in their field. They offer employees a 35 hour working week and 25 days holiday.
