Description:
Credit Controller required for a permanent position based near Aston. You will be working in a team of credit controllers chasing approximately 380 live accounts, you will utilise Excel spreadsheets to update customers on overdue balances. You will follow up on promises of payment and deal with any queries preventing payment. Other duties include producing a weekly cash flow forecast and highlighting any problem accounts to managers as putting customers on stop is considered the last resort.You will be an experienced credit controller having dealt with business to business debt and having used a computerised account package and Excel. You will have a tenacious attitude and persevere with cash collection until you see results. Written and verbal communication skills are important for this position as you will be representing the company to their customers.
My client are a large distribution company who value their employees. They like to listen to their employees and offer fun days and implement changes suggested by the staff where feasible. You will be working in open plan offices within a friendly and hardworking team. There is parking available on site.
