Description:
A Birmingham based distribution firm are looking for a credit controller to join their team.In this job, you will be responsible for a low volume/high value ledger. You will recover payments from 40-50 accounts collecting payments in excess of £1 million. The job will involve a lot of query resolution and the review of credit limits so you will need to demonstrate an analytical and thorough approach to your work.
Although a temporary position, my client is looking for a someone who can commit to the role for 6-9 months, this position would ideally suit an experienced sales ledger clerk who is looking to gain experience in a credit control role.
You will have previous sales ledger or credit control experience, excellent communication skills and be IT literate, a working knowledge of AS400 or Oracle would be advantageous.
The ability to commit to a long term temporary position is essential.
