My candidate, conveniently located near public transport routes is looking for an experienced team leader to join their team to collect outstanding debtTeam Leader - Old Debt
Duties and responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the daily activities of the Debt Recovery Project Team ensuring correct actions are identified in pursuit of maximising recovery
- Supervision and management of the Debt Recovery Project Team focusing on old debt.
- Complete and review all debts billed prior to the current tax year and make recommendations for resolution
- Development of monthly performance monitoring information for old outstanding debts
- Liaison with customers by telephone, correspondence and in person to maximise the recovery of debt
Skills:
- At least 2 years experience in a credit control environment
- Previous experience working for public sector organisation - advantageous but not essential
- Ideally experience working as a team leader
- Supervise and monitor daily activity
- Pursue maximum recovery
- Review debt bills and make recommendations for resolution
- Monthly performance reports
- Liaison skills
