Description:
This government agency are looking to recruit a temporary credit controller for an ongoing interim assignment. They will join a credit control team of seven in which all report to the accounts receivable manager. The team are responsible for the challenge of reclaiming over £9 million worth of debt, some of which dates back to 2005 and 2006.This organisation has a location which is central to many transport links, including train stations, bus routes and the underground. The office environment is a modern open plan office and the team welcomers newcomers. The type of work is of course sensitive and does require a certain serious manner and tone of candidate however the team in which there is a vacancy does have a sense of humour and a social aspect to it also.
Candidates looking to apply should have the following:
- At least 3 years credit control experience behind them
- Public Sector experience
- Knowledge of Oracle would be beneficial
- Chasing debts via telephone, letter and email
- Experience in dealing with large amounts of debt
- Experience in dealing with old date
