Description:

A leading marine insurance company are currently looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join its team. The desired candidate must have an understanding of credit control in previous roles and any insurance experience is highly desirable.

• To ensure all debt is collected as quickly and efficiently as possible.
• To ensure Statements are sent on a regular basis.
• To ensure cash receipts are allocated as quickly as possible.
• Assessing status of each account, dealing with any bad debt issues that arise effectively following agreement with management.
• Ensuring all unallocated cash is queried and followed up until its clearance from the ledgers.
• Ensuring any outstanding claim credits on the ledgers are accounted for.
• Helping with other tasks during holidays or busy periods.
• All queries are to be resolved quickly and efficiently, whether internal or external.
• Sharing ideas and discussing resolutions to problems within the team.
• To ensure good communication and rapport with our regular contacts both internally and externally.
