Description:
Specialist art supplies and framing organisation based in Finsbury Park, N4, are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to work within a team of two.You will be working for a company firmly established within the Art industry as provider of speciality frames for one time users, through to key clients such as large UK galleries.
Main responsibilities:
- Raising invoices, carry out credit control, chasing debtors and dealing with any queries that arise.
- Produced monthly reports
- Dealing with clients who are overdue with payments or have exceeded their credit limit or asking for payment in advance in accordance with terms and conditions of business.
- Control of credit account application forms.
- Hold daily meetings with sales teams going through any debtor queries with them and following up when required
- Process sales invoices (daily from completed list (Production Report)
- Process properly authorised credit notes.
- Print, sort and send monthly statements.
- Verify and post accounts receivables to ledgers and other records.
- Process daily banking, ensuring logged correctly into cashbook and ledgers ? Via Cash control sheets and allocating same (where necessary).
- Post daily transactions from bank statement.
- Maintenance and control of debtor receipts.
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties
- Assist accounts manager as and when required.
- Respond to customer queries and complaints, by telephone or in writing, after having checked the relevant facts from existing records.
- Carry out any statistical analysis and produce reports as required.
- Undertake routine administrative support procedures such as filing.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including data input into the computer.
- Working closely with other team members, supporting their work their absence
Bonus based on company, team and individual performance.
Salary increase by £1000 on completion of probationary period.
