Description:
My client are a global retail supplier with their main finance offices based in St. Albans. They are looking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller to join their expanding team to help reduce purchase debtor days.You will come from a strong Credit Control background, ideally managing a high volume high value ledger with a track record of debtor day reduction and meeting tight deadlines and targets.
In this role you will be managing a geographical ledger covering the southern UK region, dealing with around 400 live accounts. You will be chasing due payments ranging from £300 up to £90,000 and must have a confident and professional telephone manner. There will be a lot of liaising with Italy so the ability to speak Italian would be an advantage.
Remuneration for this role is £19,000 per annum, raising to £20,000 after your initial six month probationary period. In addition to your basic salary after your probation, you will be eligible for an up to 30% depending on performance. You will also be eligible for the company contributory pension, 24 days holiday + bank holidays, death in service payment, discounted gym membership, and child care vouchers.
