Description:
Credit ControllerDescription
• Chasing outstanding payments by phone, fax, e-mail or letter
• Collect post, sort and distribute
• Producing monthly Age Debtor reports, detailing all outstanding invoices to be chased and the queries against each of the overdue invoices
• Setting credit limits for customers with the assistance from financial accountant
• Holding client meetings to discuss outstanding debts, and negotiating repayment plans
• Allocating cash to accounts and updating the accounts as and when required
• Handling customer queries and dealing with them appropriately
• Liaising with the Sales Processing team as and when necessary in order to resolve the price queries
• Update the cash book in from the bank statements on daily basis
• Reconciliation of cash books
• Reply to trade reference enquires & applying for the credit limits for the new customers, reviewing the limits for the new customers
• Ad Hoc Accounts assistant duties
• Record all Irish branches cash sales in the cash book
• Reconcile of sales ledger control account in nominal with sales ageing analysis
Skills
- Good communication skills/ Credit control experience desirable
- Industry experience desirable
- System knowledge is preferable and excel skills are must (candidates will be tested on excel in interview). Candidate without the excel knowledge will not be considered.
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Reliable and trustworthy
