Description:
Our client who are a leading and rapidly expanding organisation in Swindon are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team. This is a varied role where initially you will be working in various departments to understand the business and them moving onto Credit Control where duties will be as follows:· Liaise with both internal and external customers regarding outstanding debts
· Post and allocate cash to the sales ledger
· Liaise with customers regarding unpaid direct debits and agree payment proposals where appropriate
· Issue Letters Before Action and Termination Notices as required
· Process online debt recovery via Small Claims procedure
· Meet key performance indicators with respect to Aged Debt analysis and keep Debtor Days within acceptable limits
· Record and process vehicle insurance claims including chasing customer/insurer for prompt payment
· Reconcile debtors to nominal ledger
· Attend regular reviews with Operational staff regarding outstanding debts
Candidates must have Credit Control & Sales Ledger experience.
