A fantastic opportunity for an immediately available Credit Controller!A very traditional and valued fabric and decoration company based in Uxbridge town centre are looking to take on an experienced Credit Controller.
The successful candidate will be experienced in high value and high volume credit control and will immediately available to start work.
Duties of the role include...
1. To accurately record and enter currency and sterling cash received either by cheque or direct Bank transfer
2. To ensure all entries reconcile daily between receipts and ledger allocations
3. To reconcile complex currency accounts to payment advices
4. To resolve customer?s queries by recording disputed items through the system and following up with relevant departments to ensure resolutions are efficiently resolved
5. To maintain a clean ledger and have a pro active approach to ensure that all issues that alter this status, are dealt with
6. To actively chase for payment all overdue items by fax/e.mail/telephone/letter or legal.
7. To place orders on hold where accounts are on hold and release only on payment received or justifiable credit analysis.
8. To distribute statements and letters on a timely basis and in accordance with company credit policy
9. To raise journals and credit notes where necessary
Excel skills are essential.
