Description:
Large UK Business Services organisation with an annual T/O of approx £800million is looking for an experienced and driven Credit Controller. This is a very challenging role which demands a strong background in credit control, ideally chasing large commercial and corporate business for debt, and an excellent understanding of ledgers. Excellent benefits package, modern offices and a very stable and friendly working environment.Duties include:
- Managing own portfolio of client accounts ( medium to leading Private and Public Sector organisations
- Chasing debt on a daily basis via telephone, letter and e-mail
- Allocating monies onto accounts
- Account reconciliation
- Processing refunds
- Liaising internally with account managers to resolve queries
- Producing cash collection reports
- Sales ledger maintenance
- cash remittances
- Account administration
- Monthly reporting on aged debt
- Working in a team
Skills needed:
- Must have a strong and up to date background in accounts receivable or credit control
- Must have experience of working in a large accounts department
- Must have good IT skills and be happy working on Excel ( Intermediate level )
- Proactive and enthusiastic
