Description:
Our client, based in local area is looking to appoint an experienced Controller to join their Collections Team. The role entails dealing with protracted default, where the first collections team have tried unsuccessfully for a period of time, to collect the sum due. The responsibility of the successfully applicant is to carefully assess the debtors situation, establish the appropriate course of action, and implement that action. This typically includes arranging for external agents to visit the client and gain information, or terminating the contract and appointing solicitors to commence litigation or petition for insolvency.Keys Skills Include:
- Knowledge of both B2B and B2C credit control
- Experience in instructing solicitors and managing a case to completion
- Attention to detail
- Good negotiating skills and strong powers of persuasion
