My client are a medium sized organisation located within the food sector. They have been established for over 50 years with substantial growth for the last 20 and there is no reason for this to slow down in the future. They boast an impressive client base with many global companies , many of which are recognised household names. Due to an internal re-structure they are recruiting for a new member of staff. This job will mainly entail credit control and sales ledger duties. You will be responsible for opening new accounts, posting and allocating monies, chasing outstanding amounts, query resolution, sending out statements and any copy correspondence as required and invoicing. My client requires someone with excellent communication skills in this key job as it is vital that the current relationships with their customers are maintained, these are long standing clients who have always received a first class customer service. Other duties in this job will include providing cover for the other people in this small team and any ad-hoc duties as required by the Financial Controller. You will have a relevant background including varied credit control experience within the last 2 years and preferably have worked in a small accounts team.
