An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamic performer who can think quickly and make key decisions, is committed to process improvement and eliminating waste and demonstrates inspirational leadership qualities.Commercial First Credit Management is busy team that receives intense client focus. As the country continues to experience increasing levels of debt, and the disposable income of consumers is reducing due to increases in the cost of living, there are an increasing number of arrears cases.
Alongside this, HML is currently undertaking a period of change in respect of how arrears are handled to ensure maximum effectiveness for our clients.
We are looking for a Section Manager to lead the Commercial First credit management team, supporting 2 team leaders and 20 collectors, handling increasing work loads, implementing process improvements, enhancing collection strategies and opportunities and meeting client demands whilst ensuring BAU continues as normal.
Reporting to the Manager this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly self-motivated, proactive and able to meet challenging productivity targets and deadlines in a demanding environment.
The successful candidate must demonstrate that they are able to lead and motivate, plan ahead, allocate resource to ensure that service levels are maintained at all times and be control and quality focused. They should have exceptional coaching skills, being able to empower and motivate their team leaders to improve their performance, maintaining an excellent working relationship with their peers and other key business contacts. They must also be able to form effective relationships with the client to maintain client satisfaction.
Credit Management experience is essential, as is previous supervisory experience. Experience of commercial lending is preferred.
