Description:
An opportunity for an experienced credit manager to join a leading international organisation that is growing organically during these difficult times.The successful candidate must have worked within the insurance industry.
Role responsibilities include:
- Day-today management of a team of circa 7 staff including 1 supervisor
- Create succession planning for the team by training and setting KPI's
- Have a full detailed knowledge of debt position
- Provide debt analysis and management information reports
- Maximise relationships both internally and externally up to director level
- Attend regular meetings with clients to resolve queries and reduce aged debt
- Review current credit policy and procedures
- Promote best practice across the group
- Experience in a target driven environment with the ability to set and exceed goals and improve business performance
- Financial awareness and high levels of numeracy
- Ability to inspire high performance and engage commitment from colleagues to create a high performance culture
- Ability to use experience and knowledge to implement strategy
- Ability to create longer term plans, and set direction for the wider business
- Insurance background
- Credit management qualification
