Description:

Exciting new 9 month contract  job for a credit supervisor / manager in the in High Wycombe area, this is a special project for a candidate with proven experience in a credit control and experience of managing a team. It calls for an accomplished and professional individual who can rise to a challenge. This is a 9 month position with a highly reputable manufacturing organisation, the ideal candidate for the role will be a hands on credit controller who is able to give commitment to the duration of the project.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Overall management of the Credit Control Department, including management of 5-6 staff
  • Monthly reporting - KPI's, debtors, DSO, cash-flow etc
  • Liaison with internal Sales, Accounts and Administration departments.
  • Arranging regular review meetings with Credit Control team and Senior Management.
  • Driving system and process improvements to maximise efficiency
  •  To carry out risk assessment of new and existing customers.
  •  To investigate, resolve and record customer queries, claims and deductions. 
  •  To assist in litigation procedures.
  • To supervise a team of 8 - 10 established credit controllers
 
 

Experience required:
  • Previous credit supervisory / management experience including reporting and presenting information to FC/FD.
  • Strong man management experience is essential.
  • Strong systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Previous experience of client meetings and relationship management required.
  • Key character strengths: Inquisitive nature, assertive, attention to detail, and a Tenacious attitude
