Description:

My client is looking for a Credit Policy Co-ordinator to join their expanding team, within this role you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a robust, commercially viable Credit Policy.  By doing this you will monitor and analyse the effectiveness of the Credit Policy in order to minimise bad debt and maximise revenue opportunities.
Within the role you will be required to:
  • monitor the effectiveness of the current Credit Policy including, identifying areas of weakness and recommendations for change.
  • Perform detailed analysis on high risk areas including the interpretation of large amounts of data, current marketing trends, group strategy and economic conditions in order to develop improved policies
  • Work with key stakeholders from Finance, Sales & Marketing and Customer Services to define robust, commercially viable Credit Policies
  • Present policy improvements proposals to the Credit Policy Forum for review and approval
  • Ensure Credit Policy changes are communicated and rolled out to affected business areas




 



To be a successful applicant for this role you must be:
experienced in Credit Policy development and analysis in a consumer, low volume/ high value environment
Detailed knowledge and understanding of consumer credit scoring and risk management techniques
Detailed knowledge and understanding of consumer collections techniques
Experience in litigation and insolvency
Fully PC literate with advanced Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills.
