Job: Credit Risk Analyst
Location: London, City
Reporting to: Head of Credit

An exciting an newly created role working for a leading, well established, City based commodity service provider, who specialise in providing a full supply chain service to their industry. This includes a full range of market services enabling them to meet the differing needs of this niche markets' producers, consumers and processors.

Reporting to the Head of Credit, you will be responsible for:
  • Information gathering on a diverse, global portfolio of trading counterparties
  • Substantive credit assessment and review of existing and new counterparty limits, country and sector limits
  • Application and management of internal risk grading system
  • Ongoing management of exposures
  • Reporting to Credit Committee, senior management and group offices on all credit and risk outcomes
Key skills/background:
  • 2-3 years credit experience in trading house/investment bank in a credit risk/analyst role
  • Degree qualified ? preferably Maths, Accountancy, Finance or Economic background
  • Proven ability to analyse financial accounts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative, motivated, flexible, confident, ambitious, intuitive
  • IT skills ? Excel, Word, etc
