Job Title: Credit Risk Analysts x 2
Location: London
Salary: £24,000 - £32,000 + Bonus, Training & Package

Role Overview

The primary purpose of a Credit Risk Analyst is to be responsible for performing data analysis, forecasting and predictive modelling in support of one or more Credit Risk disciplines which focus on the different functions within the credit cycle including prospect targeting and acquisition, exposure management, customer marketing, collections and recovery

Accountabilities

 Work Product: (55%) Structuring and executing research and analysis into competitive ideas, market research, past test results. Provide a role model for the standard of analysis. Work with other team members to drive business action based on your results.
 Test & Learn: (30%) Co-ordination of test/roll-forward analysis with other parts of the business: e.g. Finance, Forecasting and Modelling, Marketing. Facilitate working meetings, prepare and presentation of discussion material. Resolution of issues with other parts of the business.
 Planning & Organising: (10%) Structuring work within the project team – sometimes structuring work for the Analyst / Marketer, generating ideas on what to test, how to measure results, interpreting results. Provide project direction to other team members as appropriate.
 Communication: (5%) Structuring and executing research and analysis into competitive ideas, market research, past test results, data requirements. Communicate analytic results to both technical and non-technical audiences

Candidate Profile

• Completion of a degree in statistics, mathematics, operations research or other numerate subject. While a Masters degree is preferred, candidates with a good first
• A minimum of 12 months experience in an analytical role.
• Well developed personal organisation and commercial acumen, with the ability to deliver accurate results within tight deadlines.
• Communication and persuasion skills with the ability to think quickly and package ideas and results in a logical, understandable and compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Working knowledge of SAS (preferred) or SPSS or similar.
