Description:

Responsibility for the Operational Management of Credit Management in accordance with the businesses policies and procedures. You will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of up to eleven employees and ensuring all deadlines are met.

You will be constantly reviewing and improving the Credit Management procedures for the Group alongside identifying credit risks and the implementation of appropriate controls and measures to mitigate the risk.

This is an extremely solid and challenging position which has a balance between Credit Risk and Team management.

Critical skills required:

• Ability to perform sound analysis of a situation and make high level decisions
• Effective leadership Skills
• Effective data reporting and analysis skills
• Ability to build relationships externally and internally in order to raise the profile of the function

Critical Knowledge required:

• Understanding of regulation and the financial services industry
• Technical expertise in Credit Control
• Understanding of how to manage a process autonomously
• Knowledge of how and where credit risks arise

Having an ICM Qualification would also be a great benefit.
