Credit Strategy Systems Analyst – London / Sussex.A number of opportunities have opened within my client, a large retail bank based both in London and Brighton. They are looking for (SAS) analysts, whose key responsibility, amongst other duties, is to code credit strategy/Risk changes, working closely with the credit strategy/risk Portfolio teams to meet requirements and deliver to demanding business timescales. You will be carrying out changes and carry out any user-acceptance (SAS)testing required.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Maintain the (SAS)credit scoring and excess management systems and develop any enhancements as appropriate
• Working with Credit Portfolio teams to gather and understand business requirements
• Prepare and undertake user acceptance testing changes to legacy systems which will have direct impact on (SAS)credit decisioning operational systems.
• Work closely with colleagues in the Chief Credit Office and Group IT to plan and implement changes to schedule
Useful experience includes the following:
Degree in numerate discipline or equivalent
Experience in SQL or SAS programming would be an advantage (however not essential)
Analytical thinking/problem solving
Having spent time in a similar environment, hence allowing for immediate competency to a foundation level within credit scoring with SAS.
The successful candidate can expect to receive a basic from £25 - £30,000.
The role is in either London or Brighton.
