Description:
I have just registered a job for a Credit Risk Analyst with a successful multi- national retail organisation organisation based in Bradford, close to the City Centre. This is a fixed- term contract of 6 months, but there is potential for it to be extended beyond this time.The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience of working within Credit Risk, ideally within the retail sector. You must also have advanced Excel skills and experience of using SQL/ SAS systems
The key responsibilities will be:
- Analyse multiple sources of business data to identify improvements in income or bad debt losses
- Identify and monitor key performance indicators to understand key drivers of income or risk levels
- Develop and implement credit policy and scoring solutions to optimise the power of risk decisions
- Define, recommend and implement new strategies to increase the Financial Services result
- Work constructively with third parties to maintain mutually beneficial relationships
- Comply with relevant legislation to avoid legal violation in relevant business areas
- Drive improvements in the quality of relevant available data to maximise the value of resulting business intelligence
- Provide analytical support to relevant internal customers to manage day to day activities which contribute to the Financial Services results
- Manage specific Risk or Financial Services projects, providing expertise to wider business initiatives
This is a long- term temporary assignment which may be extended after the initial 6 month period. The role also benefits from excellent location, free parking on site, an immediate start and an excellent rate of pay.
